Operation Lifesaver
Mississippi Export Railroad is dedicated to providing a safe workplace for our employees and operating a safe railroad in the communities we serve. One of our outreaches to public safety is Operation Lifesaver. Operation Lifesaver is a national, non-profit education and awareness program dedicated to ending tragic collisions, fatalities and injuries at highway-rail grade crossings and on railroad rights of way. Operation Lifesaver increases public awareness about the dangers of trespassing and playing around the railroad tracks. The program teaches drivers and pedestrians to make safe decisions at crossings, on bridges and on railroad tracks. Mississippi Export is proud to have presenters who make presentations at schools in our area.
